Company Terms and Conditions of Trading

The prices quoted are Net Trade and are exclusive of any postage and packing. Prices are correct at the time of the order, but the company reserves the right to increase prices without notice at any time.
All goods are sold subject to availability

Payment terms are 30 days from Date of Invoice.
The company reserves the right to charge interest at 2% per month on all overdue accounts. No further goods will be despatched to a customer until payment has been received by the company. The company reserves the right to reallocate any stock held for the customer where an overdue account situation occurs. Application for Net Monthly terms must include one bank and two trade references.

All prices are subject to the current rate of VAT ruling at the date of delivery.

The Company reserves the right of disposal of the goods until they have been paid for in full by the buyer i.e. the property in the goods shall remain in the company until that condition has been met. In the event of the buyer reselling goods before that condition has been met, the companies’ beneficial interest shall be attached to the proceeds of such resale, or to any claim for such proceeds, without prejudice to any claim the company may have against the buyer in respect thereof.

The customer shall indemnify the seller, in respect of all damage, and or injury occurring to any personal property and against any actions and expenses in that connection for which the seller may become liable, in respect of the goods sold, if the damage or injury is caused by negligence of the customer or his servants or agents.

Under no circumstances may goods supplied under these terms and conditions be returned without the customer having applied for and received written consent from the company.

Every effort will be made to meet delivery estimates, but the we cannot accept any liability whatsoever for failure to do so. Goods are at the customers’ risk as soon as they have been delivered and the customer should make his own insurance arrangements. Late deliveries of one or more instalments shall not entitle the customer to refuse to accept delivery of that instalment or of any further instalments under the contract.

Claims regarding goods damaged in transit or order discrepancy will only be considered if notified in writing within 24 hours of delivery.

All standard products are guaranteed for 12 months from the date of delivery. Any claim must be made to the Post Office or the carrier within the guarantee period of 7 days thereafter and must be made in writing stating the product, date of purchase the usage of the item and its location at the date of claim. Because of the nature of the goods supplied and the inability of the company to control the use of the goods, liability of the company for a defective product, is limited to either: a) replacement or repair of the faulty product or b) the refund of the purchase price of the defective part which ever be the smaller sum. In no circumstance can the company be liable for any consequential damage howsoever caused, or any injury, loss or damage which may be caused to any other goods or to any loss of business or loss of profit resulting therefrom. In no circumstances shall the company be liable for any loss or damage where the product has been altered or modified in any way by the customer or anyone else.
